Driver killed in head-on crash in Lebanon

A head-on crash in Wilson County Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of a 66-year-old man. The crash happened around Noon on West Baddour Parkway in Lebanon. Police identified the victim as Curry Sampson. Investigators believe he may have had a medical emergency before the crash. The other driver, a 74-year-old woman, was not seriously hurt. Nashville rape suspect arrested in Mt. Juliet


Metro police apprehended a rape suspect Monday after he was spotted in a Wilson County neighborhood moments after a be-on-the-lookout was issued. The owner of a local market in Mt. Juliet was held at gunpoint during a robbery Monday evening and police are still looking for the suspects. 8 students charged after food fight at Wilson Central High School


A food fight at Wilson Central High School resulted in criminal charges and students involved may not be allowed to take part in graduation. Hank Williams Sr.’s daughter arrested


The daughter of country music legend Hank Williams Sr. has been arrested for driving under the influence.  According to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, Jett Adkinson was booked into jail at 11 p.m. Friday night.  She was previously arrested in February on the same charge. Adkinson bonded out of jail Saturday and is due in court June 9.
